A move to new purpose built headquarters prompted an interior landscaping design project that not only augmented the green objectives of the organisation but provided a harmonious working environment for staff.

Aureo Case Study
GreenBlue Urban interior landscaping
Green objectives mirrored
GreenBlue Urban was set up to research and provide solutions for assisting trees to establish in urban space with the goal of drastically improving urban planting success and increasing leaf canopy in urban areas.
Office planting was therefore particularly apropos for this client with their objectives in ‘greening’ exterior urban spaces. For their interior landscaping requirements they wanted to utilise cabinet top planting within their open plan office space with planting that had strong visual appeal.
With many years’ experience in cabinet top planting, Aureo was able to advise on the manufacture of bespoke liners to fit perfectly into cabinet top recesses within the open plan office areas. We also recommended species of live plants that would sustain the limitations of root space and lighting, as well as fulfil the customer’s requirement for plants larger than would normally be specified in this application.
In addition, a number of floor standing plant displays were added to the specification for other areas of the office and in the reception area of the ground floor, with complementing containers to harmonise with the new décor in each location.
High impact interior landscaping
The result was real visual impact that gave a tangible uplift to the office environment and in addition the live planting provides natural air cleansing and hydration within the space. The extra benefit was the brand augmentation achieved –live interior planting being so applicable to GreenBlue Urban’s values.
“What a transformation! Real plants in our new offices have been very enthusiastically received by all our staff and visitors and have created a positive improvement to the overall atmosphere. Thank you Aureo!” Paul Bowie, Managing Director – GreenBlue Urban.
