Aureo Group was formed in 2015 when two well-established and reputable businesses, Fountain Drinks and Premier Planters, recognised that a combined offering of their services would add value for their clients both in terms of service and product offering.

Fountain Drinks

Established in 1980, Fountain began concentrating entirely on sales of the original Fountain machine range and during the ‘80’s and ‘90’s a steady introduction of new ingredients and accessories produced a gradual increase in sales until the current management took over in 2005.

From 2005 to 2010, Fountain saw significant increases both in terms of sales and the range of products offered despite an economically challenging era. Bean to cup machines, dispense coffee machines and hot and cold water dispensers were introduced as the demand for quality working environments increased in the corporate sector.

From 2011 until the arrival of Aureo, growth was very rapid with one year resulting in a staggering sales growth of 111%! Office and further stock facilities were opened in Brighton, Burgess Hill and Horsham and a network of key partners was set up in 11 locations throughout the UK and France, making Fountain the perfect choice for multi-site clients.

Premier Planters

As part of a family partnership established in 1975, Premier Planters had humble beginnings in a tiny warehouse in Worthing, West Sussex.

The Worthing premises were outgrown in 2005 when relocation to vastly improved larger facilities in Burgess Hill, West Sussex brought Premier more central to its client base and facilitated the subsequent years of consistent growth – despite some challenging economic conditions during the recession years.

2009 saw the introduction of EcoRoot – the distinctive environmentally friendly brand of live planting utilising hydroculture technology that uses no soil. This was particularly embraced by clients with hygiene-sensitive environments such as in the healthcare, science and food sectors.

Still operating under family management, Premier Planters has established a reputation for service excellence and a portfolio of satisfied customers by ensuring that the original values of personal service, uncompromising quality and innovative design remain to this day.
